Idaho Falls Bittons Sit for Portrait

Here's a family photo of the Vancouver Bittons with the Idaho Falls Bittons. From left, Ashton, Jana, Aubrey, Mike, Linda and Dennis.

As part of our spring break road trip to Idaho and Utah, we stayed with Mike's mom and dad in Idaho Falls for a couple of nights. Mike's dad, Dennis Bitton, has a reading problem. No, he reads just fine. Maybe it's more of a book problem.

Every room in the house is full of books, and not junky books, either. He's got literature and history books from all around the world. He's got two entire rooms dedicated to themes he loves: the first is fly fishing. The second is Latin America. Yet another room is dedicated just to his photography archives, which principally deal with, you guessed it, fly fishing and Latin America.

It was fun to be surrounded by great books, and even more fun to be in the company of people who are passionate about reading. As we were packing up to leave, we shot this photo of the group on the front stoop of the house where Mike grew up.
